1920's "W" Baseball, Boxing, Movie Star, Other Sports Collection (114) With Ruth, Dempsey and Grange. Offered is a very much loved gallery of 114 "W" strip cards from the 1920 of various themes. Sets represented are W511 Purple, W511 Blue, W512, W513, W551, W580, W590, Plus a few others. This is a collection that has been handled quite a bit. Cards are incomplete, torn, written on, etc. The overwhelming majority are cropped down to the central image or have had captions partially or completely cut off. The cards are all 100% vintage and 100% authentic. The collection includes: Baseball (24) - w/W551 Ruth, W512 Cobb(4), W512 Hornsby, Speaker(2), Frisch, W513 Waner(2), W512 Alexander(2) plus others; Football (1) - W580 Grange; Boxing (18) - w/W511 Dempsey, W513 Dempsey(2), Tunney plus others with a few wrestlers; Others Sports/Aviators (19) - w/W511 Lindbergh, W551 Tilden, W551 Hoppe plus others; Movie Stars (42) - w/Jackie Coogan, Fairbanks, Tom Mix(2), Chaney, Lloyd, Chaplin(3 diff.) plus others with two US Presidents and two Mack Sennett flapper girls.
