The most popular name in the baseball card collecting game is featured on this scarce 1951 Topps Connie Mack's All Stars card featuring Honus Wagner. Examples complete with the top portion designed to be removed and the die-cut make high grade examples very challenging to find 60 years later. This piece presents a stunning cherry red background and a terrific action shot of the "Flying Dutchman." What at first seems like a solid "ex-mt" card, a lone crease across his figure just above the knees and a slight surface scuff at a perforation explains for the SGC 40 VG 3 rating.Auction Info
