Description
1969 World Series Games Four & Five Full Tickets, PSA EX 5 from the Casey Stengel Collection. It's no surprise that the man who labored through the painful birth of the New York Mets would have no need to pass through the turnstiles like any other fan when the Amazin' October finally came, so this pair of tickets was spared the wrath of the gatekeeper and remain untorn and as issued. Make no mistake, these are Stengel's personal tickets even though they are not marked as such, and a letter of provenance from our consignor will back this claim. Each shows mild storage wear but is safe for eternity now, slabbed in an EX 5 holder from PSA for protection and unquestioned authenticity.Auction Info
