Description
1969-72 Hank Aaron Game Used Bat. Hank was consistently hammering an average of forty-plus homers a season during the era that this signature model Hillerich & Bradsby R43 saw action, climbing ever closer to the flag planted by Babe Ruth atop the career home runs mountain. Repaired dead wood on back of barrel is the result of moderate use. Though factory records do not show Aaron having ordered this model, it was not uncommon for the team to order bats on their own for the players, and we must assume that is the case here. Weight and length of thirty-four inches and thirty-one ounces. The restoration work and team-ordered status make this an affordable Aaron bat for collectors unwilling to pay the huge premiums for a picture perfect representation. SCD A3. LOA from Dan Knoll & Dave Bushing/ SCD Authentic.More information about Hank Aaron Sports Player.
