Description

Mid-1980's Reggie White Game Worn Jersey. There's nothing we love more than a rookie-era Hall of Fame jersey, and while this thirteen-time Pro Bowl defensive end has not yet been enshrined at Canton, there is no doubt that he'll be there before too long. Though, tragically, White will not be there to accept this honor, certainly a jersey very much like this one will be placed upon display to recall one of the most talented defensive players the game has ever seen. Dating from the first several years of White's career, this home white mesh Philadelphia Eagles jersey offers White's number "92" screened in green and black on chest, back and shoulders, with "White" screened in thin green block lettering across rear nameplate. Each sleeve also features the team logo design, while below we find the sidepanels customized with twenty eyelet holes for lacing to a snug fit. Not to be outdone, the tail sports a mesh crotch piece with 5 of 6 buttons intact. In short, the jersey itself is a massive hybrid representation loaded with features and oddities. "Russell Athletic [size] 48" label in the tail is proper for the era. The wear is solid, with a couple of team repairs and unrepaired holes, and there is some faint staining on the upper jersey back that does nothing to detract from visual appeal. A rock solid representation of an early career White. LOA from Lou Lampson.
