1977-79 Keith Hernandez Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5 - MVP Era! With eleven Gold Gloves, five All-Stars, a league MVP and a World Series championships, Hernandez ranks as one of the most accomplished first baseman of his time. The offered lumber was wielded by him during 1977-79 when he was named the 1979 N.L. MVP after leading the senior circuit in runs (116), doubles (48) and BA (.344).The H&B model M110 bat measures 34.25 inches in length, weighs 31.7 ounces and exhibits evidence of outstanding use, including checking, ball marks, stitch impressions, black ink transfers, red bat rack streaks a light coat of pine tar and a handle crack. Additionally, the player's number "37" is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker. Furthermore, Hernandez signed the barrel in 9/10 sharpie. LOA from PSA/DNA GU 8.5 (1B38004).
