1978 Topps Pete Maravich #80 PSA Gem Mint 10. Hoops Hall of Famer Pete Maravich was one of the NBA's slickest ballhandlers and shooters. A standout at LSU, where he set the national collegiate scoring record, Maravich was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the first round (third pick overall) of the 1970 NBA Draft. Throughout his 10-year career in the NBA, "Pistol Pete" averaged 24.2 points and 5.4 assists per outing. Offered is a 1978 Topps card that shows Maravich driving to the basket as a member of the New Orleans Jazz. This example of card #80 from the '78 Topps set is found in Gem Mint condition with good color, solid centering, snow white borders, four sharp corners and a flawless reverse.
