Description

Circa 1987 Dan Marino Game Worn Miami Dolphins Jersey With Team Letter. A man who owned virtually every major quarterback record when he retired, Dan Marino inspired a generation of young signal callers. Blessed with a rifle arm, there weren't many throws the Hall of Fame quarterback couldn't complete. This aqua mesh garment has everything a true jersey collector could strive for. A team letter on Dolphins stationery attends and announces to the world it was worn during the referenced season. Light quarterback use, with identifier wear on the "Champion [size] XL" label in tail, is visible on the pullover as Marino didn't initiate much contact. The sleeves are open and hemmed below the white stripe. The alignment of the Champion manufacturer's logo matches up perfectly on the left sleeve with the 4x6" photos which we will forward to the winning bidder. Stretch material is fitted under the arms and sides. Dapper Dan sealed the deal with a 10/10 red felt tip signature on back. While the 1990's produced a glut of Marino gamers given his larger-than-life gridiron status, this is a departure from the norm. Kind of like the man himself. Letter of provenance from the Miami Dolphins. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
