1969 University of Texas Longhorns Team Signed Football. We need to keep this one under armed guard here at our Dallas offices, since the place is crawling with UT alumni who look at this football the way art collectors look at the Mona Lisa. Forty-six bold black ink signatures appear on the four decade-old pigskin, recalling the team which conquered the Fighting Irish at the Cotton Bowl to claim the NCAA Championship. Top stars James Street, Steve Worster (whose 1969 game worn jersey appears in this auction) and coach Darrell Royal are counted among them.
