Description

1963 Bob Allison Game Worn Minnesota Twins Jersey. The 1959 American League Rookie of the Year and a three-time All-Star, the presented career-prime gamer hails from the lifelong Senator/Twins' 1963 campaign when he enjoyed what was perhaps his finest season. That year he led the junior circuit in runs, OPS and OPS+, while blasting a career-high thirty-five round-trippers and driving home a teammate on ninety-one occasions. For his effort we was awarded his second All-Star berth and placed fifteenth in the league MVP race.

Home white flannel with blue pinstripes displays an underscored "Twins" diagonally scripted across the chest and "4" on the verso, all sewn-on in midnight navy on red tackle twill. A Minnie & Paul team patch resides on the left sleeve and tagging includes an "Allison" swatch in the collar and a "Wilson 46" label in the tail above a "1963" year swatch. A beautiful jersey which is completely original and exhibits the perfect level of wear. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
