1980 Topps Baseball High-Grade Complete Sets Collection from Vending (10 Sets). From the Long Island Vending Collection. Our consignor, with hopes of becoming a baseball card dealer, convinced Topps in selling him a massive order of vending cases of their newest product, 1980 Topps. Assembling hand-collated sets and selling each through an advertisement in Sporting News magazine, this set is part of the remaining inventory newly discovered. Offered is a group of ten complete sets of 1980 Topps baseball cards. Assembled by our consignor from vending, these sets have remained virtually untouched for decades- as close to a factory set as possible. A total of ten cards have been graded by SGC. Includes: #'s 270 Schmidt (10: MINT, 6 NM to NM/MT, 3 EX/MT), 393 Smith (10: 7 NM to NM/MT, 3 EX/MT), 450 Brett (10: 2 MINT, 4 NM to NM/MT, 4 EX/MT), 482 Henderson (10: 2 SGC MINT 9, 2 SGC NM/MT+ 8.5, 4 SGC NM/MT 8, SGC NM+ 7.5, SGC NM 7), 540 Rose (10: 2 MINT, 4 NM to NM/MT, 4 EX/MT to EX), 580 Ryan (10: 2 MINT, 5 NM to NM/MT, 3 EX/MT). Grades 82% NM to NM/MT (with many MINT examples!), 18% EX to EX/MT, a few lesser largely due to centering.Auction Info
