Description
1985-86 Magic Johnson Game Worn Los Angeles Lakers Converse Weapon Sneakers. Dating from one of only two seasons in the entire decade that Earvin did not lead the Lakers to the NBA Finals, these 1986 Converse All Stars high-tops display leather uppers with a funky gold/purple/white colorway. Star, chevron and "Magic" stenciling, all appear in purple. Meanwhile, Converse branding is also present on the tongues and midsoles. Johnson's ability to play any position, sink pressure shots, and get teammates involved by delivering the ball to them in positions where they were capable of scoring from, made him the best point we've ever seen. There are no size indicators inside. Also, they exhibit some degradation to the tongues and interior padding. LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
