1979-81 Anthony Carter Game Worn Michigan Wolverines Jersey with Provenance. Wide receiver Anthony Carter is a three-time collegiate All-American, three-time top ten finisher in the Heisman balloting, two-time All-USFL, three-time Pro Bowler, and member of the College Football Hall of Fame.

Here is his game worn jersey dating from his four-year tenure with Bo Schembechler's Michigan's Wolverines where he caught 161 passes for 3,076 receiving yards and thirty-eight total touchdowns. Blue knit with crossover v-neck collar displays "1" on the front, back, and sleeves, with "Carter" on the verso, all screened on in maize heat transfers. Also, the tail reveals a "Russell Athletic XL" label. Exhibits light wear and there is an area of greenish discoloration on the back numeral.

Accompanied by a letter of provenance from coach T.J. Weist on "Western Kentucky Football" letterhead. Mr. Weist coached the wide receivers at Michigan from 1990-93. Letter of provenance from T.J. Weist. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
