1968 Topps Nolan Ryan - Mets Rookie Stars #177 PSA NM-MT+ 8.5. The biggest hobby story of 2016 was the surging prices of elite rookie cards, a market at which Heritage finds itself proudly leading. In the first half of 2016, we established new high-water marks for the Mantle and Mays rookies of the 1952 Topps issue at their respective grades, and the 1955 Topps Clemente at any level. It's a raging bull we attribute to a flood of new money in the game, a factor that we expect will propel pricing superlatives for years to come.Those who share our optimistic outlook would be well-advised to strongly consider the offered lot, a relic as impressive as the man whose debut it heralds. Graded PSA NM-MT+ 8.5. The full-bleed borderless design has established the 1968 Topps Baseball issue as one of the most challenging for collectors intent upon top grades, as any evidence of wear has nowhere to hide. But here the scourges of age and handling find no quarter here, leaving the gorgeous relic to luxuriate in a pack-fresh state.
