Description

The Stilt sets a record for the ages!

1962 Wilt Chamberlain 100-Point Game Ticket Stub. Every basketball collector wants one, and virtually nobody has one. Despite the enormous scarcity of relics from this Hershey, Pennsylvania contest, every fan on earth knows the event. On March 2, 1962, the seven-foot one inch superstar center for the Philadelphia Warriors became the first (and, to this date, only) man in NBA history to require a third digit on his personal scoring sheet, dropping an even one hundred in a 169-147 victory over the visiting New York Knicks. Just over four thousand fans were on hand to witness this stunning display of offensive production, so the scarcity of surviving stubs is little surprise.

Sweeter than the chocolate from the town where history was made, this stub will allow one more collector to enter the elite brotherhood of ownership. Verso is inked with the fan's notation, "Phila - 169, N.Y. Knicks 149, Wilt Chamberlain 100 pts." Stub shows wear consistent with use and storage but still presents well inside its laminated seal.
