Description

1959-60 Harmon Killebrew Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9.5. Lifting ten gallon milk cans weighing close to one hundred pounds as a young farmworker, "Killer" developed early the enormous upper body strength that would later power him into the 500 Home Run Club and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Presented is a signature model Hillerich & Bradsby D2 (35" and 31.8 ounces) from the the productive heart of his stellar career, dating to 1959-60.

PSA bat expert John Taube classifies the use as "outstanding" on the offered walloping stick. A handle crack was professionally repaired. Grain swelling is visible on the back barrel from Killebrew terrorizing the opposition. Ball marks pepper the right, left, and back barrel, and cleat marks are also dispersed throughout. Heavy pine tar, a Killebrew trait, lines the handle. A faded asterisk if written on the knob. Killebrew gave his personal endorsement with a 10/10 black felt tip signature and "573 HR's HOF '84" inscription. A top-tier Killebrew gamer with incredible use. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9.5. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
