Description

1914 Cracker Jack Grover Cleveland Alexander #37 PSA EX 5. As a second-year appearance of this all-time great, collectors of Cracker Jacks, 300-Game Winners, and Hall of Famers are largely lacking an example of what some consider the rookie this troubled legend. His alcoholism, epilepsy and post-traumatic stress from World War I horrors couldn't derail one of the most remarkable pitching careers in baseball history. He is most known for his facing the dangerous Tony Lazzeri in the bottom of the seventh and the bases full the '26 World Series. Corners show little wear and graphics are low but within line for the grade. There are obvious elevated amounts of soiling/dirt front and back. This is the only recorded copy in EX, there are a handful higher.
