1986 Fleer Basketball Cards & Stickers Complete Set (132+11) - All Graded PSA NM-MT 8! After the 1981-82 NBA season, Topps decided to step away from the basketball card market, creating a massive void in the hobby. Although Star Company valiantly tried to keep the hobby's itch scratched, the low print runs posed a problem when it came to reaching basketball collectors thirsting for something to grab onto. The 1986-87 Fleer release was the first set that hobbyists could call traditional and it certainly scratched that itch. Boasting a rookie class, anchored by a high flying rookie that redefined the shoe industry named Michael Jordan amongst another 10 future Hall of Famers in that rookie class. The non-rookie Hall of Fame lineup in this release was definitely nothing to be ashamed of either with the likes of Kareem, Magic and Bird. This offering also includes the sticker set that Fleer offered.
