Description
Circa 1992 Julio Cesar Chavez Match Worn Trunks. Widely considered the greatest fighter ever to come out of the boxing-loving nation of Mexico, Chavez claimed six titles in three weight divisions before he hung up the gloves for good. Now his son has carried on the legacy of boxing excellence. These "Bertinelli size M" satin shorts were worn by Chavez when he was dominating the competition in the early 1990's. We researched images from Chavez's career and find him wearing the exact same style in 1992. Style matches are found when Chavez fought Hector "Macho" Camacho in September. Silver sequins are instituted into the sides along with silver threads. "J.C. Chavez" is embroidered on front in navy blue and two Atlantico manufacturer's logos appear on the lower half. "Atlantico" is featured against a white background on the elasticized waist on both sides. Three labels are found inside: Bertinelli, size and "Dry Clean Only."
