1895 N300 Mayo Cut Plug John Ward (2nd Base) SGC 50 VG/EX 4 - Pop Three, One Higher. The final name on the N300 Mayo Cut Plug roster is John "Monte" Ward. Ward did not play nor manage during the 1895 season but cards were obviously produced close enough to opening day as he is listed as "2nd Base" on the caption of this version. Based solely on SGC submissions, neither version is much more difficult to find over the other. Graded SGC 50 VG/EX 4. From a total pop of only twenty-two examples. This is one of only three cards graded VG/EX. Only one has rated higher.Auction Info
