1956 Topps Phil Rizzuto (Gray Back) #113 PSA NM-MT 8. Hall of Famer Phil "Scooter" Rizzuto was the longtime starting shortstop for the New York Yankees during the 1940s and '50s. Always good with the glove, the 5' 6" Scooter turned in his best season in 1950 when he won American League MVP honors after batting .324 with exactly 200 hits and 66 runs batted in. Offered is a 1956 Topps card that shares a pair of images on Rizzuto, one handsome headshot and one smaller inset pic of him about to turn a double play at second base. This gray-back example of card #113 from the '56 Topps series is found in high-grade condition with deep, rich colors, great centering, four solid corners and a flawless reverse. Graded PSA NM-MT 8.
