Description

1932 R328 U.S. Caramel Ty Cobb #14 SGC Good 2. John Esch collection. The careers of Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth overlapped 14 seasons (1914-28) which found the elder Cobb reluctant to let go of his supremacy in the game as it transformed from the dead-ball era to the more modern home-run era. Cobb was retired in '32 but still well respected and an asset to baseball card promotions. Our offered card is his scarce R328 U.S. Caramel entry that presents excellent-mint with condition detriments affecting the reverse. Very attractive card. Graded SGC Good 2. SGC has graded just thirty-six total examples.
