1912 T227 Honest Long Cut Ty Cobb SGC Good+ 2.5. The commanding waist-high portrait of the Georgia Peach is generally considered his best-looking card collectible. The offered card has one crease that just clears his cap, some corner and edge wear and light soiling. The centering of the colorful portrait is close to precise. The back displays the "Miners Extra" tobacco advertising. All condition issues fail to detract from the classic image of the greatest batter of the 20th Century, perhaps the greatest the game will ever see. The ever-important hues are still rich and supple; the portrait is minimally affected by the faint creasing and wrinkling, resulting in a card with presentation quality that exceeds the technical grade.
