1916 Everybody's (M101-5) SGC Graded Type Near Set (3/4). The 200-card series originating with Felix Mendelsohn served as the basis for numerous advertisers becoming a type collectors dream. This auction features over twenty advertisers/lettering variants and is certainly one of if not the the most complete run ever presented in one auction. Offered is a 3-card gallery of the four known "Everybody's" Boys' Clothing Department typographic variations. This brand is one of the rarest variants collectors have to acquire. We may not know where they were based but we do know they are on the "Fourth Floor." Includes: #'s 21 Joe Bush/Very Fine Font (SGC 50 VG/EX 4), 23 Art Butler/Fine Font (SGC 50 VG/EX 4) and 188 Zach Wheat/Heavy Font (SGC 40 VG 3).
