Signed 1976 Topps Pete Maravich (All-Star) #130 PSA VG 3, PSA/DNA Auto 7 - Pop One, Three Higher. The late Pete Maravich was one of the best ballhandlers in NBA history. Beyond his jaw-dropping dribbling skills, he could score from seemingly anywhere on the court and earned the nickname "Pistol Pete" because he could shoot the lights out at basketball arenas across the country. Offered is a 1976 Topps First Team All-Star card that shows Maravich on the court sporting his New Orleans Jazz uniform. The colorful card shows decent centering and a flawless reverse, but includes some noticeable surface wear. This particular example of card #130 from the '76 Topps series also boasts Maravich's coveted signature as he signed "Pistol Pete" across the front in blue marker and added his uniform number ("7"). Since Maravich passed away in 1988, at the age of 40, his autographs are considered rare. Graded PSA VG 3 with an autograph certified and graded PSA/DNA Auto 7. This is the only autographed card graded VERY GOOD in the PSA Pop Report with three rated higher.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
