2015 Denver Broncos Super Bowl 50 Championship Ring (Center Dillon Day).UPDATE: Letter of provenance from Day is included.
Seven sacks and four forced turnovers proved the old adage that defense wins football games, as the Denver Broncos stifled the fifteen-and-one Carolina Panthers' high-flying offense to claim a twenty-four to ten underdog victory in the Super Bowl's fiftieth edition. The Golden Anniversary theme is celebrated in the design of the Championship rings issued to the Mile High representatives.
The opulent face of the ring features a trio of Lombardi Trophies to represent the franchise tally, with a team logo and golden text reporting, "World 50 Champions" rising from a sea of genuine diamonds. Left shank reveals the surname and jersey number of the practice squad player to whom the ring was presented, sharing space with an NFL logo and even more diamonds. Right shank piles on still more diamonds, forming the structure of a Lombardi Trophy amidst text reporting, "Denver Broncos, 2015, This One's for Pat," a reference to the beloved team owner who had proclaimed "This one's for John [Elway]" in the celebration after Super Bowl XXII.
Interior band recounts the postseason path to glory with the results of each playoff game and "Jostens 10K" stamping, and measures to a size twelve and a half (12.5). Total weight is eighty-six grams (86 g.). Condition is virtually Mint. Ring is housed in original wood and etched glass display case with original cardboard packaging as well. Included is invitation to ring presentation ceremony.
