Description
1991 Jimmy Key All-Star Game Issued Bat Signed by Key, President George H.W. Bush, Bowie Kuhn & Bobby Brown with Key Letter. As this auction demonstrates, Jimmy Key preferred not to make use of the bats issued to him for Midsummer and Fall Classics and instead press them into service as autographed souvenirs. He got this bat into the hands of the reigning Commander in Chief, the former Commissioner of Baseball and the reigning president of the American League. Key himself signs as well, noting he was the winning pitcher in the game. Autographs are 9/10 blue sharpie. Rawlings Big Stick has no apparent model number but measures thirty-four inches (34") in length. Letter of provenance from Jimmy Key. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
