Description

1907 Detroit Tigers Opening Day Ticket Stub. Ty Cobb went one-for-four and scored both runs in this two-to-zero defeat of the visiting Cleveland Naps on April 11, 1907 at Detroit's Bennett Park, the Opening Day of the first of two consecutive American League Championship seasons in the Motor City. Stub has handwritten notation from fan who was there that afternoon but general handling and storage wear is the only other info for a condition report. Note that the 1907 and 1908 World Series stubs in this auction derive from the same source.
