1998 Mark McGwire Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. No sports figure had more eyes trained upon him in 1998 than the red-headed giant of Busch Stadium, who led fellow National Leaguer Sammy Sosa on a chase for the single-season home run record. Here we present a Rawlings Big Stick from that historic year, one that made a nation hold its breath every time it left Big Mac's shoulder. All specs are precise to exemplars, from the "Mark McGwire, Cardinals" in block lettering on the barrel, to the "MAC25 98" coding stamped in the knob, to the length and weight of thirty-four and half inches (34.5") and thirty-three ounces (33.8 oz.) respectively. A few ball marks and stitch impressions appear on the left and back barrel from the big man making contact. Light pine tar appears on the handle of the uncracked stick.
