Description

1971 All-Star Game Ring Presented to Al Kaline from The Al Kaline Collection. "Number Six" was already a ten-time Gold Glover, World Series champ, and the toast of The Motor City by the time the future Hall of Famer was presented this ring for his inclusion in the 1971 Midsummer Classic. This was the game where Reggie hit the light tower on the roof of Tiger Stadium. Mr. Tiger helped the junior circuit cause with a hit and a run.

White gold, minimalist beauty displays a blue stone centered on front. "1971 All-Star Game - A.K.," "14K 0-S" and an unknown maker's mark ("L*") are etched inside. Measures to a size ten and a half (10.5) and weighs fourteen grams (14 g.). Great condition. Letter of provenance from Mark Kaline.
