2003 Roger Clemens 300th Win & 4,000th Strikeout Game Used & Signed Baseball. To date, twenty-four pitchers have reached the 300 victory milestone in Major League Baseball history. One sixth as many have notched 4,000 strikeouts. But only one man has gained entry to both ultra-exclusive Clubhouses in the same game. Here we present an OML (Selig) sphere that saw action at that June 13, 2003 contest when the Rocket made history twice on one rainy evening at the House that Ruth Built. The Yankees' rookie reliever Jason Anderson, long a fan of his veteran teammate, took this ball home from the park as a souvenir after instructing Clemens to sign the sweet spot for posterity, and to add "300 Ws/4000Ks" to commemorate the event. Ball exhibits clear use from that remarkable contest, and is accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Clemens' awestruck teammate. Letter of provenance from Jason Anderson.
