Description

1920 World Series (Game 5) "Bill Wambsganss Unassisted Triple Play" Ticket Stub, PSA Good 2-- Pop Three, Two Higher. The name Bill Wambsganss doesn't resonate with most baseball fans. But his footnote in history is noteworthy. He was the first, and only, man to turn an unassisted triple play on the grandest stage. This ticket, one of only sixteen evaluated by PSA, witnessed that historic feat during Game Two of the series. Cleveland beat the Brooklyn Robins 8-1 en route to the franchise's first World Series title. Graded Good 2 by the experts, this offering has light creasing on the sides and soft corners. The reverse has a few light creases which do not penetrate to the front. Encapsulated by PSA, Good 2.
