Description

1956 Topps Roberto Clemente (Gray Back) #33 SGC NM 7. Presented is a 1956 Topps card that spotlights the late Roberto Clemente, one of baseball's legendary figures. A fan favorite in Pittsburgh, Clemente helped the Pirates win two World Series titles (1960 and '71). A terrific hitter, he collected exactly 3,000 hits and compiled a lifetime batting average of .317. He also nabbed 12 Gold Glove awards for his defensive prowess in right field. This gray-back example of card #33 from the '56 Topps set provides a pair of images of No. 21, one in-game action pic of him snaring a fly ball and one handsome headshot. The offered card is nicely centered, the design vibrant and colorful, and the reverse is extremely clean. Graded SGC NM 7.
