2006 Kobe Bryant 81-Point Game Los Angeles Lakers Full Ticket, PSA EX 5. Every once in a while a player is in the zone. Every shot seems to tickle the twine with ease and the backboard is open for that bank shot. What Kobe Bryant felt on the hardwood January 22, 2006 was unlike anything else he experienced. When the smoke had cleared, The Black Mamba had scorched the nets for eighty-one points, an NBA record for a guard. Kobe looks up to only Wilt Chamberlain for the most points scored in a single contest.The impressive scoring line included: 28-for-46 from the field, 7-of-13 from the 3-point line and 18-of-20 from the free throw line. Lakers' owner Jerry Buss described the game as it "was like watching a miracle unfold."
