Description

1909-11 T206 Lenox-Brown Sam Crawford (With Bat) BVG VG+ 3.5 - Only Two Graded Examples! Offered is an questionably rare 1909-11 T206 card featuring HoFer Sam Crawford (With Bat) which we have all seen many times. Our offered card becomes something very special with a quick flip that reveals an almost unheard of "Lenox Cigarettes" advertisement. We are offering this card as a Lenox backed T206 printed in a Dark Brown ink. Some disagree. There are claims that black ink cane be altered to look another color but color pigments for black compared to other hues are different. If black ink were to fade, it would fade to a grey. NOTE: On our website is an example of a Lenox back printed in Black. The decision is ultimately yours.

Graded BVG VG+ 3.5. This is the one and only Lenox card graded by Beckett! PSA has graded just one (an Authentic) and SGC shows none with none noting ad color. It has been 110 years and there are just two confirmed examples. we suggest you don't wait if this card is one your want list. T206 combinations don't get much closer to impossible than this.
