1998 Fleer E-X 2001 Essential Credential "Now" Pair of Uncut Sheets with 80 Cards. The 1998 Fleer E-X 2001 set featured an innovative multi-layer design that incorporated sheets of acetate that gave the cards added depth. Two levels of parallels were available as inserts, both under the "Essential Credential" heading. Here, we have the "Now" subset that contained 101 cards and feature a bright neon green and gold color design. Each card was serial numbered, and the serial-numbering mirrored the numbering of the base set. The future stars were featured first while the established stars were featured last, making the "Now" stars, in this instance, a scarcer pull than the veterans.

Offered is two uncut sheets that contain eighty of these wonderful insert cards. There is some wear to the sheets; namely, there is some buckling to one side of the sheets that has caused the top layer of the design to start to come apart from the second layer, impacting the Maddux, Thomas, Karros, Griffey, Belle, Rodriguez, Anderson, Walker, Klesko, McGuire and Ripken cards. Also, the cards from these sheets have not been serial numbered, indicating that these may be proofs or created for internal use at Fleer.
