Description
1933 Goudey Charley Gehringer #222 PSA NM 7. One of the greatest all-around ball players the game has ever seen was Charles Gehringer. He is featured on card #222 from the 1933 Goudey series. Gehringer played for 19 years, all for the Detroit Tigers, and was an extraordinary batsman. His best season was 1937 when he batted .371 (winning the AL MVP Award as well) and would retire with a lifetime .320 batting average. HoF honors came in 1949.
