1904 St. Louis Browns Stock Certificate. Two years after their entry into the American League, and thus the major leagues, the St. Louis Browns were still trying to round up dough to fund their base-balling adventures and thus issued this certificate for two shares of Capital Stock. Measuring roughly 8.5x10.5" the issuance exhibits mild wear with some staining on the lower edge as well as a fold from when it was store. Interesting early history from the franchise that would become the Baltimore Orioles.Auction Info
