1938 Goudey Jimmy Foxx #249 SGC Poor 1. From the 1938 Goudey set, known as "Heads Up" because its design incorporated photographs of the faces of the players, comes this card of superstar slugger, Jimmie Foxx. Foxx made his name playing for Connie Mack's Philadelphia A's; by the time this card was released, "Double X" was a star for the rival Boston Red Sox.
