Description
1932 Honus Wagner Signed "Wagner-Traynor Co." Business Card. The boldest inscription and signature imaginable from the Dead Ball era's greatest shortstop finds a home on an equally appealing medium. The Hall of Famer's black fountain pen ink spells, "Oct 17 - 32, with best wishes to Donald Goodrich by J. Honus Wagner" with a firm, steady hand. Flip the card over and one finds small photo portraits of a pair of Pirates legends under the heading "Wagner - Traynor Co., Inc." and a notification that "The bearer of this card is entitled to a discount on any purchase made from this firm." The card itself presents as perfectly as does the inscription it holds. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA for protection and unquestioned authenticity.Auction Info
