1965-69 Roberto Clemente Game Used Bat. A top ten MVP candidate four of the five seasons this bat may have seen action (and winner of the Award in 1966), Clemente almost certainly worked some true magic with this signature model Hillerich & Bradsby G105. Fine use, evident in ball, stitch and spike marks dotting the barrel, suggests that this is true, as does the expertly repaired crack on the handle. The length of thirty-six inches and weight of thirty-five ounces are each proper for Clemente gamers of this model and era, perfectly matching factory records. In short, a solid representation of a highly desirable Hall of Fame gamer from a man whose greatness on the field was only challenged by his greatness off of it. Sticker on upper handle establishes provenance to the famous Louisville Slugger auction. LOA from Taube & Malta.
