Description
1924 Casey Stengel Signed World Tour Photograph. Offered in this lot is an original type one photograph of several members of the 1924 World Tour meeting King George. In this particular photo, Casey Stengel is shown shaking hands with the king, and Stengel has inscribed it, "To Hal Stevens from Mgr Brooklyn Baseball Club, Casey Stengel shaking hands with King George of England, November 1924." The signature and inscription have faded ever so slightly but still rank in at 7/10. The photograph measures approximately 8x10" and is framed to 15x17." Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
