1940-41 Hart Trophy Presented to Bill Cowley. Boston Bruins superstar center was presented this superb 12" high trophy for his notable 1940-41 NHL season, in which he led the league in assists (45) and points (62), completely dominating his closest rivals by an amazing 18 points. An immaculate original personal memento, the Hart Trophy is awarded annually to the NHL's Most Valuable Player. Exhibiting light tarnishing throughout, it was originally obtained from the Cowley family and is engraved: Miniature of Dr. David Hart Trophy Presented to The National Hockey League for the most valuable player Won by William Cowley Boston Bruins 1940-41."
