Description

2003 Justin Morneau Game Worn & Signed Rochester Red Wings (AAA) Jersey. Morneau is a four-time All-Star, 2014 N.L. batting champion and 2006 A.L. MVP. Here is his 2003 Rochester Red Wings gamer from his tenure in the Triple A International League. Home white knit sports sewn-on red/gold/black tackle twill identifiers, black piping on the collar/button path, red/gold/black braid on the sleeve ends, team patch on the right sleeve and American flag patch on the verso collar. Rawlings tagging revealed in the collar and tail.

It is important to note that single season vintage is assured by the fact that Morneau switched to #33 for the 2004 season and doesn't play again for the team until 2011 (rehab assignment), when the home jerseys featured a different design. Also, visual evidence confirms that the Minnesota Twins' "2003 Inaugural Season Red Wings Affiliation" patch and the black "EC" patch (memorializing former team president Elliot Curwin) were removed from the left and right sleeves, respectively. The jersey exhibits solid wear, is signed in 9/10 black sharpie and is very attractive. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
