Description

1970's Stan Mikita Game Worn Skates and Pads (One Signed) -Provenance From Former Hawks Stick Boy! Originally obtained from former Chicago Blackhawks stick boy Johnny Iannotti, here we present a pair of hockey skates and pads worn by arguably the best center of the 1960's, Stan Mikita. Used by the only player in NHL history to win the Hart, Art Ross and Lady Byng trophies in the same season, during the later part of his career, the lot includes a pair of "LANGE" skates and "Cooper - Gunzo's" shin pads. The skates exhibit nice wear and have "#21" proper marked on the inside of the tongues, while the plastic pads exhibit nice wear and a faded Mikita signature on the left pad. An absolutely great set from the popular Hall of Famer, who had his No. 21 retired by the Hawks in 1980. Letter of provenance from the Iannotti family.
