1980's Joe Niekro Game Worn Houston Astros Jersey. The brother of 300-game winner Phil Niekro, Joe Niekro had an impressive career in his own right, winning 221 games over twenty-two Major League seasons of service. His two finest seasons occurred in 1979 when he went 21-11 and finished second in the Cy Young balloting, and 1980 when he went 20-12 and finished fourth in the Cy Young balloting.Here is his 1980's Astros gamer. Home white knit pullover sports sewn-on tackle twill identifiers, blue v-neck collar, rainbow trim accentuating the shoulders/sleeves and a "W.A. Goodman & Sons 44" label in the tail. Exhibits solid wear and presents well. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
