1979 Dave Winfield Game Used All-Star Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. We have written our lot title the way we did (as opposed to "All-Star Game Used") because the experts at PSA/DNA could not find images of Winfield using this bat in the 1979 All-Star Game, but they do affirm that it is a regular season gamer used in the second half of the season after the Midsummer Classic. That use is characterized as "excellent" due to the ball marks, stitch impression and rack streaks on the barrel and the moderate pine tar on the uncracked handle. Number "31" is written in faded black marker on knob. Length is thirty-five and a half inches (35.5"), weight thirty-five ounces (35.2 oz.).
