Description

1951 Cy Young Single Signed Baseball. The man whose name is synonymous with pitching excellence ranks right up there with Ruth and Cobb in terms of hobby essentials, but his singles are tougher to find than either of his inaugural Hall of Fame classmates'. Here, his distinctive autograph fills the side panel of a "Bob Feller Fire Ball," celebrating another ace who would earn immortality at Cooperstown. It is important to understand that the Feller "signature" on the opposing panel is a facsimile stamp applied as part of the ball's branding and not a hand-signed example. This is a true single, with the only other hand-applied writing on the ball being that of the collector who marked the exact date and time of the meeting with this baseball legend on the panel below Young's autograph. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
