1956 Topps Whitey Ford #240 PSA NM 7. Whitey Ford, whose nickname was "The Chairman of the Board," was the ace of the New York Yankees pitching rotation for much of the 1950s and '60s. Over a career that spanned 16 seasons, Ford posted an overall record of 236-106 with 1,956 strikeouts to his credit. Offered is a 1956 Topps card that shows a headshot of Ford partnered with an image of the southpaw throwing off the rubber. This example of card #240 from the '56 Topps series is found in Near Mint condition. Graded PSA NM 7.
