Description

1930's Babe Siebert Signed Cut Signature. One of the grittiest legends of professional hockey, known for his prowess as one of the league's greatest fighters while with the Montreal Maroons and New York Rangers, Babe Siebert is featured on this ultra-rare cut signature. A fine exemplar that was originally cut from his daughter's report card in the 1930's, the autograph displays 8/10 black fountain pen ink. Named head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Siebert's career ended in tragedy, while never coaching a game as he drowned in Lake Huron prior to the 1939-49 season. A extremely solid signed example near the top of most discerning vintage hockey signature collectors' want lists. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
